The British Antarctic Survey research polar regions across the world supported by state of the art vessels such as the RRS Sir David Attenborough. Current and past research projects include looking at the impacts of climate change on polar ecosystems, oceanography and ice sheet movements.

Our Role

Our pipes are used in the vessel’s sophisticated systems, ensuring the safe and efficient handling of sea water to be used in research. The chemical resistance and durability of our PTFE-lined pipes provide the reliability and long-term performance necessary for the vessel’s critical scientific missions, supporting groundbreaking research in some of the most challenging conditions on Earth.
