PTFE/PFA for Hydrogen Application

CRP have been manufacturing paste extruded PTFE (HiPerFlon*) and PFA lined steel piping systems for 40+ years.  They are supplied to many industries handling highly corrosive acids and bases due to their outstanding corrosion and permeation resistant properties which provides extended service life. HiPerFlon* PTFE and PFA lined pipes can withstand high pressure and high temperature environments. Alongside this they offer exceptional safety, ensuring no chemical contaminations and maintaining purity of process media.

Paste extruded PTFE and PFA (HiPerFlon*) lined products are used already in the hydrogen industry for hoses, lining material in fittings pipe spools and valves. This is due to the inherent nature of paste extruded PTFE and PFA, being able to withstand corrosion from almost all chemicals, along with a high temperature operating range up to 200°C & and maintain purity of all solutions conveyed within.
