Smoothbore Sleeves for use with Powder Duties

If handling media at high velocities or with entrained solids we suggest you consider using smoothbore sleeves  These are of PTFE and provide additional protection to the convolutions.  These can be specified as either a loose fit—to avoid the sleeve constraining the bellows movement, or a tight fit to minimise the potential build up of solids in the convolutions.  As standard the spigot is sized to protrude just beyond the end of the bellows when at maximum axial length, but this can be specified at time of order.
